Goodbye's in Yoakum
One last run to Yoakum - delivering our van to it's new home (my parents purchased from us!) and having lunch with our extended Yoakum Family. Kate very much enjoyed seeing Gizmo - our dog that is staying in Yoakum with it's cousin Pepper and Grandparents! All the kids loved just spending some time there. We headed over to see JoJo Plume, Greg's Grandmother - just prior to heading back to Magnolia. It was a BIG DAY in the Car - so we are all very tired. Home for a quick hop in the pool and showers - so everyone will be refreshed and ready for our final day at Lakeside Bible Church in Montgomery, Texas. Knowing fully that no matter how hard it is to say Bye to family and friends - it's really just "see ya soon!".

Final Days in Texas
It's our final days in Texas. We are "camping" in our home as all our belongings are in shipment or storage.... being in close quarters and sleeping in 1 room of 4,000 sq. ft home really helps you learn so much about yourself and your children.... God is so good to grant us this time as a familly!
As we head into our final weekend here - we look forward to a quick trip to Yoakum to deliver some of our "hunting lease" so they'll be readily available when we are home for the Holidays. Sunday will be our last day at church - Lakeside Bible Church - our home and family - our place to learn and serve - the people and leaders of LBC have been such a blessing and we have grown so close to our Lord as we have learned about Him. Certainly, our view of God is much bigger having spent 9.5 yrs under Pastor Ken's teaching. Visiting the Lakesidebiblechurch.org and downloading weekly sermons will help make our move easier for sure.
Greg will work Monday and Tuesday as the Kids and I spend time with Friends in the area. We will also be getting ready for our very much anticipated family vacation with our dear friends - The Beatty Family. A trip to California and cruise to Cabo is just want the Dr. Ordered after a crazy Spring and busy Summer - rest and relaxation - no cell phones or computers - just time to hang with the family.
Once home from the vacation - only 2 days to pack and one last "family dinner" with The Maggard and West extended family in LaGrange. Just reminding ourselves - it's NOT GOODBYE - it's "See Ya later!".
